| My doodle during church (hey! I had already heard the first service!) |
At some point this week (forgive me for not remembering when), Josh edited the Christmas letter and made it beautiful. 1 black and 2 color ink cartridges, a cramped hand, and too many stamps later, we had our first Christmas letter mailed out to the world. I am SO thankful Josh decided to spend an extra $1.30 for the "pull & seal- seals without moistening" envelopes!
I worked Thursday night and Josh got to hang out with his friend David (one of the groomsmen). They also came and visited me at the store which was nice :) but it was rather busy at the time. Later, Josh picked his mom and the dog, Roxie, up from the airport. Apparently the weather outside is frightful in North Carolina. We're glad she got back safely. His dad is still up there, but should be back soon.
Last night I got creative and started painting with watercolors. :) Unfortunately, I think I'm better at sketching. And finally, I woke up at 6:30 this morning to do slides for both services at church. I also sustained a minor injury upon getting out of bed. You know the sometimes sharp corner of bed frames? Yeah, it was dark, I was tired, and the bed decided to attack my unsuspecting foot. So I globbed some Neosporin on the wound and slipped on my flip flops.... my lovely scrape just happened to be right where the strap of the flip flop rests at the top of the foot. But I was running late, so I just had to suffer through it. ANYWAY, The practice before church started didn't go so well, but I pulled through for the services. Thank goodness for hot tea.
And so ends my rant about my week.
Mom, I hope this satiates your heart's desire to know about your baby's weekly goings-on.
Don't worry, I think my foot will live.
